Division 01
Alternative Education & Family Support
For families pursuing flexible approaches to education — whether that is homeschooling
from the start, moving out of a school that isn't working, or building a blended routine
around online provision.
Individualized interventions designed around the learner. We assess first, so that the
support that follows targets the actual difficulty rather than the visible symptom.
Educational research and evidence-informed practice — both for our own programmes and
for the researchers, institutions and agencies we work alongside.
Building educator capacity through training that is practical on Monday morning.
Delivered at your school, at our centre, or online for individual educators.
Practical learning for students, young adults, educators, parents and community members —
short, focused programmes that end in something you can use or show.
Connecting families with opportunities beyond the classroom — a growing network of vetted
providers offering the activities that build confidence, creativity and character.
The sequence matters. Most educational support fails because it starts at step three —
delivering an intervention before anyone has established what the difficulty actually is.
A consultation with the family, the learner, and where relevant the school. We gather history, concerns, what has already been tried and what the family actually wants.

Assess
Where the picture isn't clear, a formal educational assessment: reading, writing, numeracy, working memory, processing speed, attention and learning behaviours.

Plan
A written Individual Educational Programme or education plan — specific targets, the teaching approach that suits the profile, accommodations to request, and a review date.

Support
Delivery: intervention sessions, supervised online learning, coaching, mentoring, curriculum guidance for parents, or training for the educators around the learner.

Review
Progress measured against the targets set in step three. What worked continues, what didn't is changed. The plan is a living document, not a filed report.
